Privacy notice
Last updated 7 October 2026
This website is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. The only form is the beta list sign-up, and there are no analytics, advertising or tracking.
Who we are
LumaWright Ltd. (“LumaWright”, “we”, “us”) is the controller for personal data described in this notice. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16118827. You can contact us about privacy at hello@lumawright.com.
What we collect when you visit
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, so that it can deliver the page securely and protect the service from abuse. We do not switch on visitor access logs and we do not use this information to identify or profile you.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies, use local storage for tracking, or load scripts, fonts or images from third parties. Because of this, there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
When you join the beta list
When you join the beta list, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the time you signed up. We use these only to tell you when the LumaWright Studio beta opens and to send you news about the beta and Studio’s launch, including founding customer pricing. We do not share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to hello@lumawright.com, and we will remove you from the list. We keep your details until you ask us to remove you, or until the list is no longer needed for the beta and launch, whichever comes first.
Sign-ups are processed by a small service we run on Amazon Web Services, which forwards your details to our email inbox. The service does not keep a copy.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your name, email address and anything you choose to include to reply and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or, where you are asking about buying from us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep correspondence for up to two years after our last exchange unless it relates to a contract, in which case we keep it for as long as the law requires.
Who processes data for us
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website, delivers it through a global content delivery network and processes beta list sign-ups.
- Google provides our email service.
These providers act on our instructions. Some processing may take place outside the UK; where it does, it is covered by the safeguards the providers offer under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, erase or restrict it, to object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email hello@lumawright.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change, for example if we move the beta list to a mailing-list service or when LumaWright Studio launches and we start offering trials and accounts. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
